Six Keys to achieve perfect form
If you are new to the gym you may think all you have to do to look good is to pick up the heaviest weight possible and then throw it around like a monkey. This is not true! You have a plan of action to achieve results! For plan development contact me. If you already have your plan then make sure you are utilizing it to the fullest with proper form. Remember you want results not injury!
Here are six key steps to good form

- Make sure the area is clear of random weights and if you are using a machine to make sure it is set up for you body type.
- Use a strong but smooth motion! You want to control the weight at all times! Both on the positive and negative repetition.
- Hold the flexed position for a second. It’s not about speed, so focus on holding the contracted muscle before releasing.
- Keep tension on muscle! Do not bounce the weight in-between reps. Keep it a smooth controlled motion with constant tension.
- Train through a full range of motion. A muscle must be fully stretched before it can contract again. Partial reps wont deliver complete muscle growth.
- Exhale on exertion! By doing this you will deliver more power to the working muscle.
